World Latin Dance Championship in Burgas

Burgas will host the World Latin Dance Championships for athletes over 19 years of age.

Such a competition is being held for the first time in Bulgaria, with the Municipality of Burgas providing support for its realization, its press center said.
The championship is organized under the guidance of the World Federation of Sports Dance, which is recognized by the International Olympic Committee.

The competition will be held on August 31 and September 1 at the Arena Burgas. An international tournament for different categories and ages will be held in parallel with the championship.
More than 300 participants from all over the world are expected to take part in the competition. Bulgaria will be represented by two pairs.

The performances of the participants will be evaluated by judges from the World Dance Sport Federation.
