New road Burgas

The northern bypass of Burgas in the road to Sofia is opened for traffic.
The route is 4.7 km long. Car traffic is now being diverted on the new road. On the direct route of the Northern Bypass of Burgas in the way from Sarafovo quarter to "Vetren" quarter.

At the end of May, the remaining lanes of the bypass will also be open to traffic. The traffic from Varna in the direction of Sofia will pass outside the city center of Burgas  in the direction of AM "Trakia". In this way, travel time is reduced.

The Road Infrastructure Agency calls on drivers to drive with caution and strictly follow the posted road signs and speed limit.
The construction of the Northern Bypass of Burgas began at the beginning of 2021. Its length is about 5 kilometers, connecting the exit of the Trakia highway with the main road to Sunny Beach and Varna. According to the parameters laid down in the project, the construction activities were supposed to end in the middle of 2022.

At the same time, it became clear that the work on the other lane from Sofia to Sunny Beach continues. The builder's commitment is to have this section ready by May 6, and then minor finishing works on the key infrastructure project to finalize it.
