Growth of early bookings

Increase of early reservations along the South Black Sea coast.

Certain bases will function at the rates from the previous year. Hoteliers along the South Black Sea coast anticipate a surge in tourists of between 10 and 20 percent.
Early bookings of holidaymakers are also moving better. Along with visitors from Germany, England, Austria, and Poland, they are Bulgarians. A few of the bases will continue to charge the same lodging as the previous year. Both the north and the south of Burgas have high hopes for the next tourism season. The manager of a hotel complex next to Sozopol, Nikolay Kirilov, anticipates a rise in international visitors from the Czech and Polish markets, as well as from Germany and Romania.
On April 26, the complex Sunny beach welcomes visitors from Bulgaria.
"Based on last season, we expect between 10 and 20% growth in tourists. So far for early bookings we have between 15-20%, which is much better compared to last years. We are preparing the week before Easter, we have organized great experiences, with a rich and varied program. We are one of the few who have kept the prices from last year." Kirillov explained to BNR. In one of the big hotel complexes in Sunny Beach will also work at last year's prices.

The first holidaymakers there will be English, Germans and Poles. Compared to last season early bookings are in higher volume, so a better season than the previous one is expected. It relies mainly on tourists from England and Germany, with an increase in holidaymakers from Poland, the Czech Republic and our northern neighbour Romania following the Christmas pandemic.

Hoteliers remind us that until the end of March, we can still take advantage of early booking deals that will save us money on the budgeted holiday this year. Aside from the Easter and St. George's Day holidays, Bulgarians favor the local sea in the strong months of July and August.
The good news is that vacation packages along the South Black Sea coast won't see an unexpected rise in cost. The hoteliers guarantee us, at least, that the pricing will remain the same as they were the previous year and that any increases will not exceed 5%. This year, the first visitors to the Burgas region are anticipated to arrive from the UK towards the end of April.

Around Easter, we anticipate increased interest in our resorts. This Easter season, 99% of hotel bases along the southern Black Sea coast will open for business. The new tourist season will begin with the celebratory weekend. The entire industry anticipates a quiet and prosperous season.
