Cycling tour Primorsko

The International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria starts from Primorsko on August 30 The 72nd International Cycling Tour of Bulgaria will begin at Primorsko.

According to the local government, the prologue will take place in the beach town on August 30 at 6:00 PM. The Bulgarian Cycling Federation is in charge of organizing the esteemed event. The race will feature 120 professional cyclists from 20 countries and three continents, who will compete on a route with a total length of 687 kilometers, divided into five stages and a prologue. The first stage starts on August 31 and will end in Burgas. In the following days, the cyclists will reach Kazanlak, Troyan and Sliven, where the final fifth stage will take place on September 4 — a circular route with a start and finish in the town under the Blue Stones. he route of the cycling tour offers a range of challenges, from flat and coastal regions to mountain ascents and rapid races. Competitors will fight for the coveted yellow jersey, a symbol of leadership on the tour, in addition to stage victories. The race, which is emblematic of the Bulgarian sports calendar, continues to strengthen its reputation as one of the most prestigious events in the region, combining sporting passion, tradition and national pride.

In early September, Primorsko will also host a large-scale ultra cross triathlon, which will be held on Perla Beach.
