Burgas Airport flights from 25 countries in summer

Burgas Airport opens the active summer season with the first flight since Bulgaria joined the Schengen area by air on the last day of March. This was announced by the airport concessionaire company Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD.

The first travellers will arrive on a low-cost Ryanair flight from Poland. The airline will operate ten routes this year. On 31 March, flights from Krakow - Poland and London Luton - UK will start flying to Burgas Airport. In addition, flights from Vienna-Austria will start in April, and in May - from Kaunas-Lithuania and Warsaw-Poland.

The last day of March heralds the beginning of the active flying season at Burgas Airport. This was announced by the airport concessionaire, Fraport Twin Star Airport Management AD. The first flight from Poznan, Gdansk, Bratislava, Budapest, Dublin, Ireland and Hungary should land in June.

Another budget airline, Wizz Air, will also start summer service at Burgas Airport in 2024. The airline serves nine destinations in five countries: Tel Aviv-Israel, Vienna-Austria, Budapest, Debrecen and Warsaw-Hungary, Gdansk, Katowice, Lublin and Warsaw-Poland and London Luton-UK. Flights are scheduled all year round.

On 28 April for the first time Discover Airlines will open scheduled flights from Germany Frankfurt am Main to Burgas, which will be operated twice a week. Thus, in addition to direct flights to the German city, the airline, a member of the Lufthansa group, offers opportunities for connecting flights to many destinations around the world, the Burgas airport concessionaire said.

Low-cost airline EasyJet will resume its summer flight programme to Burgas as early as May 12 with flights from Manchester UK, and in the last week of June it will also resume flights from two European capitals - London Gatwick UK and Berlin Germany.
National carrier Bulgaria Air resumes scheduled flights between Sofia and Burgas on 2 June, three weeks earlier than last year, and will operate twice a week at the beginning and five times a week starting from 17 June.
